I love writing and working on creative writing activities with my kids! Luckily, there are many tools that we can use, and here is the one that you may want to give a try.
Writer Igniter is a very user-friendly web tool that you can use with your students. Just click the shuffle button to get a randomly generated prompt. It gives you a character, a situation, a prop and a setting for your story. Then, you can start writing your unique story using the information that you have.
The students can work individually or in groups, and if you like, you can give them a chance to change one of the prompts.
