Peter McIntosh of Oakland Unity High School Oakland, California, uses Khan Academy online math resources to help struggling students master algebra. Students are encouraged to seek help from "hints" and fellow classmates before turning to McIntosh. He notes that the students are far more engaged with math in the digital format compared to traditional paper problems. Supporting materials are available for download.
