Earlier this year I wrote about Chalkup, a learning platform that can help teachers manage student work and keep their classes on track. One important feature I’d like to highlight is how Chalkup can promote student engagement. Educators who use this tool can keep students on task while engaging them as they explore course content.
Chalkup provides tools to help students work and study together. Kids can collaborate with their peers through the online platform to complete projects and correspond with one another. Students can also pose questions when they are struggling to understand an assignment or a core concept. Chalkup gives teachers the power to create an environment where students are not passively taking in a lecture. They are engaged, on task and growing as learners.
