published
Fifth graders from Zach Elementary School hiked through the Comanche Peak wilderness to the top of Crown Point Mountain, the site of a WW II B-17 plane crash. In class afterwards, the students connected via Skype with Leroy Fagin, the last remaining survivor of the crash. Mr Fagin offered his first-hand account of the historic incident and answered questions from the class. Watch below or on the Poudre School District site.
