Samsung Electronics America Inc. today announced the availability of its enhanced “plug & play” MobilePrint App for a secure printer or scanner through a Wi-Fi access point for iOS smart mobile devices.
The upgraded MobilePrint app for iOS devices is now able to securely print and scan office documents, attachments, travel itineraries and web content directly to any Samsung printer on a local-area network with a secure WiFi access point. With this free download, businesses do not need an external server or PC to use the app and allows authorized professionals to print, scan, review sign and share printed documents from their smartphones or tablets.
Other enhancements include:
- Printing Microsoft documents – Power Point, Excel and Word
- Print documents that are attached to email
- Print documents from the cloud
- Print from Google Docs
- Select individual pages to print
- Print files shared from other apps
- Rearrange the icons on the main screen
