Snappy Words is a free online visual dictionary and thesaurus. It’s a simple and quick visual alternative to the traditional dictionary. Just enter a word into the search box and the tool will create a web of related words, definitions, and phrases. Then, you can hover over on any word in the web to view the definition. You can double-click on a word, or drag a word to a new location to explore other branches of the word web.
The tool provides a great resource for students who use the same phrases repeatedly in their writing tasks by providing alternative words and their definitions.
