Discovery Education Announces Date of 2018 Day of Discovery Tour Kick-Off
First Event Launches No-Cost, Full-Day Professional Learning Events in U.S. and Canada Focused on Helping Educators Learn, Share, and Connect-
Silver Spring, Md. (February 8, 2018) - Discovery Education, the leading provider of digital content and professional development for K-12 classrooms, has announced the date and location of the first stop on the 2018 Day of Discovery Tour. A series of no-cost, full-day professional learning opportunities, the Day of Discovery Tour is designed to help participating curriculum leaders, principals, media specialists, and teachers, learn more about integrating digital content into their curriculum, share effective strategies for creating dynamic digital learning environments, and connect to their most valuable resource--each other.
The 2018 Day of Discovery Tour kicks-off on March 10 at the Broward County School’s Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Day of Discovery attendees will participate in a full day of lively networking sessions, interactive demonstrations, in-depth discussions, and other opportunities to learn from their peers. In the coming weeks, information on additional Day of Discovery Tour dates in Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Milwaukee, WI; Nashville, TN; Orange, CA and Philadelphia, PA will be announced.
