Voices of Civil Rights(2)
published
A joint project of AARP, the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights (LCCR), and the Library of Congress, Voices of Civil Rights provides a place for people to share their experiences of the turbulent beginnings of the civil rights movement as well as contemporary insights. Inspiring features include the "Unfinished Business," of the Brown v Board of Education decision and "New Voices," the young activists who seek to carry out the visions of the original leaders. Large compelling graphics, an interactive timeline, and a video of striking photos set to music make this a dramatic website.
