Ever wonder how nutrition labels on food packages relate to healthy eating? In this virtual lab, students create their own nutritious daily menu and learn to read nutrition labels so they can make healthy food choices. The lab requires that students create a menu that values fall within the U.S. government’s daily guidelines. Students select foods for their menu to complete the requirements of calories, fats, cholesterol, carbohydrates, protein, and sodium.
