Name:Teacher's Corner
Peggy Wentworth teaches Wellness and also serves as the Webmaster for the Lexington High School Web site in Lexington, Tennessee. Wentworth has created Teacher’s Corner, a section of the high school site, to help teachers at all grade levels find links to really good online resources.
How to use the site:
The links are organized by grade level and/or content areas. A wide variety of resources are available here, and teachers will want to spend some time exploring the offerings. There is a heavy emphasis on WebQuests, interactive sites, educational games, and Web-based tools. Wentworth writes that she uses the Teacher’s Corner daily, particularly the downloadable PowerPoint files. She also suggests that parents use Teacher’s Corner to find suitable activities for students to use at home.
