Report Provides Insights into School Web Navigation
Blackbaud Inc. recently released a report that analyzed current trends of roughly 3,000 American private school Web sites. The study revealed that the most common features observed on private school homepages include: contact information (phone, address, etc.), dropdown menus, event listings, and a news feed. Other findings include:
❉ 15% of private school Web sites use “.com” opposed to the 73% using “.org”;
❉ 78% of Web sites are currently not utilizing responsive design;
❉ 60% of Web sites include a call to action, with the primary observed call to action being “Request Information”;
❉ 68% of Web sites include a link to a Facebook page.
