Nathan Hale High School(2)
Brief Description of the Site:
Nathan Hale is an urban high school located in Seattle, Washington. Nearly 1100 students in grades 9-12 attend the school. The design of the school’s Web site is relatively simple, but the focus on student achievement in a supportive environment comes through clearly. Parents, students, and community members can find information quickly about the basis of the school’s philosophy of education, academics, special departments, and athletics.
How to use the site:
The daily bulletin and calendar are posted on the home page for easy access by teachers and students. Ninth and tenth grade students are able to find much of the basic information they need about grading, supplies, assignment logbooks, and more through special links in the Academics area. Parent will also find helpful information here. Be sure to look at the Integrated Projects posted in 10th Grade Integrated Studies and the Technology-Infused Projects linked to Technology in Curriculum. Nathan Hale also boasts a nationally recognized student-run radio station. Click on the Radio Station link to learn more and listen to a broadcast.
