Brief Description of the Site:
Cathie Quarles teaches fifth grade at St. Teresa School in Fordyce, Arkansas. Her classroom Web site is designed so that students and parents can access assignments, teacher-approved Internet activities, view students' work, and take on-line quizzes.
How to use the site:
Students use the site to practice quizzes for vocabulary words and main ideas. Rubrics are available so students can see criteria for grading. Students can also find links to activities that correlate with what is taught in class. There's quite a bit of information packed into this site, but it's easy to find specific items and regular updating keeps parents and student coming back for more.
