Montebello USD Department of Educational Technology
Name:Montebello USD Department of Educational Technology
Brief Description of the Site:
The Montebello Unified School District is one of the largest districts in Los Angeles County, CA serving more than 35,000 K-12 students and 30,000 adult learners. The district’s Department of Educational Technology pioneered web page development in the district and uses its site in the delivery of services and support to all school staff members.
How to use the site:
District employees may search for staff development schedules, book the computer lab, and read the latest news about technology-related events and programs within the district. Items of interest to site visitors from outside the district include: research on educational technology, grant information, and links to quality curricular sites. The Learning and Mentoring in a Digital Age (LAMDA) program area is well worth a visit. Professional development providers will be interested in the structure of the program and teachers will enjoy reviewing the Deliverables (final teacher projects) posted there. Be sure to check out the award-winning Iditarod project.
