The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has a fireworks information center that you really need to check out before the festivities begin on Fourth of July. A graphic shows the body parts most injured in a fireworks mishap. Just as a precaution, be very careful with your hands and fingers. A list of safety tips give you common sense safeguards and some that might not be so obvious, such as not buying fireworks that are packaged in brown paper.
