DEA: Just Think Twice
In 1909 the United States initiated the first federal law controlling narcotics, under the presidency of Teddy Roosevelt. Today, drug control has become a significant business in the nation from control at borders, dealers on the streets, and jail space, to medical care, and a wide variety of drugs to be on the look out for. The concern in 1909 was opium. In 2016 there are concerns over meth, cocaine, heroine, marijuana as well as prescription drugs and alcohol. "Just Think Twice" is presented by the DEA to educate people on the real facts about drugs.
