The Howard Hughes Medical Institute invites curious kids to learn about biology through the use of this site. Through "kidspeak" this easily accessible site offers. Learn about plants by building a salad - but only by learning plant parts first through a game. The miniature world, air, plants - all are presented with graphics and humor to make learning fun.
How to use the site:
Click on the graphics of the topic of interest. Activities range from games to hands on crafts projects with a list of needed materials for children. The variety of activities for each category makes the learning fun for early childhood and elementary school students. The site isn't very large, but worth a couple of visits for children to enjoy while learning.
