Compare and Contrast 2nd Grade Unit
published
Here’s a unit for second graders that teaches that all-important concept of comparing and contrasting. It begins with identifying key words that alert the reader to comparing and contrasting. This lesson includes a direct teaching example passage and independent student practice. The final lesson asks students to compare and contrast two different versions of fairy tales. These lessons include the plan, the text and materials necessary, and the alignment with standards. Free registration is required.
