Central Pacific Railroad
published
Our vast country was first linked by railroad on May 10, 1869, when the tracks of the Union Pacific and Central Pacific met at Promontory, Utah. This extraordinarily rich collection of photos, stereographs, engravings, and 19th century writing provides first-hand accounts of the building of that first trans-continental railroad.
