The best blogs lead the reader to rich information by using hyperlinks to strengthen what is written in the article. Hyperlinks lead to more information so that the interested reader can easily go deeper. However, some text can be 'over-linked'. Compare these two pages:
Notice all the links in the Wikipedia article. Each leads the reader to further information. The downside is that so many hyperlinks can take away from the fluidity of reading.
So this raises some questions: 'Can an online text be over-linked?' and 'What makes the links in an online text valuable?'
