AVerMedia® Technologies announced today a milestone has been achieved for the AVerVision Teacher Forum Contests and Document Camera Giveaway. Since the contests’ inception in August of 2008, AVerMedia has given away a total of 11 new CP300 Interactive Document Cameras (total retail value of $7,700) to teachers and tech coordinators around the nation. Both contests are a part of AVerMedia’s Teacher Forum. This forum has been growing rapidly with over 2300 members and 5000 posts consisting of shared classroom, lesson plan and technology ideas.
The first contest is a random drawing held every month where one post is chosen and the author is awarded an AVerVision document camera. The other encourages members to refer fellow educators to the forum, earning them an additional chance to win. The forum member with the most referrals at the end of the month also receives the same prize. These contests have been received with great excitement as many contend for the two monthly prizes. Each document camera has impacted a classroom and a group of students’ learning environment. AVerMedia’s goal is to positively enhance as many classrooms and create as many memorable teaching moments as possible and these contests are just one way to achieve it.
