It may not be the brightest screen or one that can show 4K images, but Viewsonic’s VA2246m is one of the best values in displays today. The 21.5-inch screen costs $90, yet shows full HD imaging, has a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and an antiglare coating that should lessen stray reflections. It has a pair of speakers as well as connections for VGA and DVI computers but not an HDMI port. If you don’t want to use the tilting stand, it has 100-millimeter VESA mounting holes. The big bonus is that it includes something other inexpensive displays don’t: a three-year warranty.
