Tyler Technologies Inc. has signed contracts to provide the Katy (TX) Independent School District and the Canyon (TX) Independent School District with Tyler’s Financial Management by MUNIS solution. The agreements, which total about $3.1 million, include software licenses, related professional services, maintenance, and support.
Katy ISD will implement a full suite of financial applications including HR Management, Tyler Content Manager Enterprise Edition, and GASB 34 Reporter. The district will deploy these Tyler applications using the role tailored dashboard option. Canyon ISD will also implement Tyler’s Financial Management by MUNIS solution, including HR Management, Workflow Finance, Workflow HR, and Tyler Forms Processing.
“One of the main factors in our selection of Tyler was that they clearly stood out as a ‘partner’ in our journey, not just a software vendor,” says Kerry Rampelli, senior project manager for Katy ISD Technology. “Functionally, they met all our key requirements, and they have a proven track record in Texas with a large customer base solely in the public sector."
