Squirming Palm Exhibit
published
At this online exhibit, you look at a rotating disk of dots for 15 seconds, and then look at your own palm. Your palm will appear to be moving in the opposite direction from the way the disk was spinning. This is a variation of a well-known illusion called the "waterfall effect" in which you see upward motion after staring at the downward motion of a waterfall.
