Secure social networking
published
The new Saywire network provides secure social networking for K-12 schools, and lets its members share ideas, collaborate on projects, and prepare for competitions in technology. It includes permissions-based controls to ensure online safety and features such as wikis, online word processing, multimedia, and document storage. Students and teachers can collaborate on content, help each other on problems, engage in tutoring, and even form teams for specific projects. The Technology Student Association, one of the nation's largest organizations of middle and high school tech students, recently named Saywire as their "official online social learning network of choice."
