Staff Development for Educators (SDE) has been selected as one of a group of preferred providers to deliver professional development workshops, and the only approved vendor to provide assistance in conference planning and facilitation to private schools within the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD).
The recommendation for awarding the district’s Title II, Part A, Professional Development Services for Private Schools comes after a vigorous evaluation process and comprehensive review of qualifications conducted by the LAUSD’s source selection committee.
For nearly 25 years, SDE has provided teachers an opportunity to learn the best techniques from teachers and contemporary thought leaders in K–12 education. Administrators and teachers learn classroom strategies and practical techniques through SDE’s customized sustained professional development solutions - regional seminars and national conferences; on-site consulting services; online learning programs; and teacher resources. These ‘best-in-class practices’ cover a wide variety of topics including instructional strategies for differentiated instruction, response to intervention, Common Core State Standards, 21st Century skills, technology integration, and more.
