Rutherford County picks Lenovo for new pilot program
Rutherford LEAP announced its selection of the Lenovo IdeaPad S10e netbook as the computer for its pilot program at Kittrell School in Rutherford County (TN) for the upcoming school year.
The county’s technical administration team and Rutherford LEAP found the netbook to be an upgrade for students, citing features such as its Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition OS and a six-hour battery life. Rutherford LEAP Director Sara Brody is enthusiastic about the program, praising Lenovo’s “superior technical product” and “commitment to helping Rutherford County school students.”
The netbooks will be distributed to seventh grade students, who will be able to connect and share in school and at home, thanks to the latest features in wireless connectivity and the netbook’s durability.
