On Tuesday, October 7th, 2014, Secretary Duncan and the US Department of Education will welcome a selected group of the nation's 14,000+ superintendents to Washington, D.C. to attend a summit on the transition to digital learning in support of the President's ConnectED Initiative.
This Connected Superintendents' Summit will provide opportunities for leaders to share lessons learned with each other and with the Department to help disseminate promising approaches across the nation. Superintendents selected to participate will also be recognized for their role in helping lead the transition within their schools.
SchoolCio readers are invited to nominate a district leader who is doing extraordinary work transitioning to digital learning with a one-question nomination form. The first round of nominations will close on May 27th, 2014.
