Missouri district adopts integrated student information management system
Tyler Technologies, Inc. has signed an agreement with the Kansas City, Missouri, School District (KCMSD) for Tyler’s integrated student information management system, which includes applications from Tyler SIS, Tyler Special Education and Tyler Pulse. The agreement includes software licenses, related professional services, maintenance and support.
KCMSD, which has approximately 16,700 students and 2,300 teachers and administrators, selected Tyler’s student management solutions to greatly expand services and increase communications between teachers, students and parents. After a competitive review process, KCMSD selected modules from Tyler SIS to provide student data and parent notification management; Tyler Special Education to aid in developing individual learning plans for every student; and Tyler Pulse to provide advanced analytics to monitor Key Performance Indicators and student progress.
“As part of KCMSD’s three-year technology plan, we needed a new Web-based student information system that was technologically advanced and could grow with our school district. We chose Tyler SIS after careful and fair evaluations from multiple vendors,” said Tom Brenneman, KCMSD’s director of technology. “We selected Tyler’s student management solution based on its broad service offerings and Tyler’s reputation in Missouri for providing outstanding customer service.”
