Illinois District Still Without Tech Director
published
Members of the Big Hollow (IL) School District 38 seemed destined to name a resigning board member as the district’s first technology director in five years.
But at the last minute, board members reopened the hiring process. Todd Wright had been helping the district on a volunteer basis for the past few years on technology initiatives. A contractor has been running the district’s IT department, but that person usually works on nuts-and-bolts issues instead of possible upgrades.
Board members confirmed that Wright resigned his board post in order to apply for the IT director position.
