Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Unit #5 School District in Illinois has hired Anthony Galindo as the district's new superintendent, beginning July 1. Galindo will replace Chuck Aubry, who retires this June after 15 years as superintendent. Galindo has been superintendent since 2008 of West Richland Community Unit School District #2, a preK through 12th-grade district in the southeastern Illinois community of Noble.
