Tech Museum Awards
Nominations for the Tech Museum of Innovation Tech Museum Awards are being accepted through March 24, 2008. The humanitarian awards program annually recognizes 25 individuals, non-profit, for-profit and government organizations in five global categories, including education, for developing technology solutions that benefit humanity and address critical issues facing our planet and its people. Five of the 25 Laureates will each receive a $50,000 prize at a gala event held in November. Awards criteria and nomination forms can be found at the Tech Museum Awards Web site at www.techawards.org.

The Motorola Foundation is offering $4 million in awards for its 2008 Innovation Generation Grants, open to K–12 students and teachers of math, science, engineering, and technology. Applicants can apply for up to $100,000 to fund their programs.

The Murdock-Thompson Center for Teachers' Summer Fellowship for Innovative Teachers program is open to K–12 teachers who demonstrate innovate teaching in the classroom. Fellowship is valued at $2,000. Deadline: March 31, 2008

Kohl's Kids Who Care Program recognizes students ages 6 to 18 who are community volunteers. Awards range from $50 gift cards to $5,000 scholarships.
