High school seniors can apply online for $1,000 U.S. Bank Internet Scholarships. One hundred recipients will be selected at random. Winners must be fulltime college students in Fall 2006. Deadline: Feb. 28, 2006
Bentley Systems is sponsoring the 2006 BE Awards Student Competition. Middle and high school students are eligible to compete individually or in teams of up to three students. Entrants use MicroStation PowerDraft (free download) to design a school of the future. Winners receive a $1,000 scholarship. Deadline: Feb. 28, 2006
The National Endowment for the Humanities offers residential Summer Seminars and Institutes for K-12 teachers in public and private schools. Librarians and school administrators may also be eligible. Participants receive a stipend based on the length of the seminar or institute. Deadline: March 1, 2006
The Ellison Exception Award, sponsored by Ellison Educational Equipment, recognizes one unique educational program that works for the betterment of students and/or the community and uses Ellison equipment. The winning program receives a $5,000 donation to the school or organization along with other gifts and honors. Deadline: March 1, 2006
