Georgia's second-largest district selects enterprise resource planning solution
Tyler Technologies, Inc. has signed a contract with Georgia’s Cobb County School District for Tyler’s Munis® enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. The agreement, valued at approximately $2 million, includes software licenses, related professional services, maintenance and support.
With more than 106,000 students and 14,000 employees, Cobb County School District is ranked as the second largest school system in Georgia and the 26th largest in the United States. Cobb County School District selected Tyler’s Munis ERP solution to maximize the use of the solution’s current technology and advanced functionality offering across departments.
“School districts choose Munis because it’s a technically advanced solution that delivers a broad range of functionality out of the box,” said Richard E. Peterson Jr., president of Tyler’s ERP & School Division. “Additionally, school districts can depend on Munis as a long-term solution because Tyler’s evergreen philosophy means the software is regularly updated as part of their annual maintenance, meaning clients never have to pay re-licensing fees to receive the newest technology or functionality. We are excited to partner with Cobb County Schools, and we look forward to a long relationship.”
