Forsyth County Schools has implemented a combined assessment-LMS solution. The comprehensive solution blends the LearningStation™ student assessment platform with the personalized digital learning platform from itslearning. FCS was selected by the U.S. Dept. of Education for the 2010 Investing in Innovation Grant (i3), at the time one of only twelve public school districts selected for the grant, and the sole recipient in Georgia.
The joint solution offers FCS educators standards-based learner plans as well as a content management system where activities, resources and more are matched to student performance levels, and individual learning styles. The LearningStation Assessment platform allows for both plain paper and online assessments, while also providing assessment results back into itslearning’s grade book and instructional system.
