El Paso district inks $1.9 million software deal
Tyler Technologies, Inc. has signed a total school solution agreement with Socorro ISD in El Paso, Texas, for Tyler’s Munis® enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, Tyler SIS student information solution, Tyler Pulse information warehouse, and Tyler Content Manager (TCM). The agreement, valued at approximately $1.9 million, includes software licenses, related professional services, maintenance and support.
Socorro ISD, one of the fastest growing school districts in Texas with more than 42,400 students and 7,000 staff, selected a total school solution from Tyler for the benefits a single vendor solution provides, such as consistent implementation and services methodologies, a single contract and solid integration points. Socorro ISD has invested in a wide range of Munis and Tyler SIS applications, including financial management, human capital management, employee self service, student grade book, parent and student Web portal, and Texas Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) reports. Tyler Pulse will aggregate management information from Tyler’s solutions and Socorro’s state and local assessments. Additionally, TCM will help the district manage its data more efficiently while reducing paper waste.
