Edgenuity, provider of online curriculum and instructional services for the K-12 market, today announced an expanded library of Social and Emotional Learning (“SEL”) courses through its Courseware product line.
Edgenuity added a series of SEL courses and intervention topics through the company’s partnership with online course provider Purpose Prep. Edgenuity customers now have access to six SEL courses integrated into Courseware Mental Health & Wellness, College and Career Readiness, Social & Emotional Success, Unlock Your Purpose, Character & Leadership Development and Personal Development. The curriculum addresses topical interventions for students at risk or in need of behavioral supports and intervention.
Each SEL course aligns to core competencies outlined by the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL), Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) best practices.
