Doug Levin Will Keynote Tech & Learning Leadership Summit
Doug Levin will present the cybersecurity threats facing U.S. K–12 public schools and districts.
At the Tech & Learning Leadership Summit, being held in Washington D.C. just before the CoSN conference, cybersecurity expert Doug Levin will present the opening keynote address.
Doug Levin is the founder of the K–12 Cyber Incident Map which has been instrumental in drawing attention to cybersecurity threats facing U.S. K–12 public schools and districts. In addition to being cited in federal and state legislative bodies, the map has been used by district leaders since 2017 to help advocate and plan for better cybersecurity practices.
Levin will present the most recent research updating the threat map; lessons learned through these incidents; issues around evaluating the harm of a data breach; specific incidents of breaches, including ransomware, malware, and vendor breaches; and challenges and policy implications for the future.
District leaders will also have the opportunity to listen to and share the many ways their colleagues are using technology to drive innovation.
This event for district leaders is by invitation only. Learn more about Tech & Learning Leadership Summits here and visit this link to apply.
