District to Open New Polytechnic High School
published
Arizona’s Vail School District announces the opening of its newest high school, Andrada Polytechnic High School for the 2012-2013 school year.
Andrada will offer students the opportunity to have a "college and career" focus, through Career and Technical Education (CTE). This will include classes in Transportation Technologies, Bioscience and Health Care. Students will be able to earn certification such as an ASE or Lab Technician, allowing them to work in that career field right out of high school.
Andrada will also offer one-to-one laptops, instead of textbooks and the same rigorous curriculum and AP and honors classes as the other Vail High Schools.
