Different Browsers for PC and Mac?
I have a PC at school and a Macintosh at home. I use Internet Explorer to browse the Web on both computers. I’m taking an online course and am finding that sites that work just fine at school don’t seem to work as well at home. Why is that?
Internet Explorer was designed for the PC world initially, and although it usually works on a Mac, users do run into problems with some sites. Check the operating system you’re running on the Mac. If it’s System X 10.2.8 or later, you can use Safari, the default browser for System X. Check the Apple Web site for more information.
I have both a PC and a Mac and started using Safari when I upgraded my System X software. So far, it has worked like a charm.
