CoSN Honors FCC Commissioner with 2014 Public Service Award

The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) honored Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel with its highest award – the 2014 Award for Excellence in Public Service.
Presented annually, CoSN’s Public Service Award recognizes a national, state or local official for his or her work to promote the use of education technology to improve K-12 learning.
The award has previously gone to champions such as Senators Jay Rockefeller (WV), Patty Murray (WA), Patrick Leahy (VT), Angus King (ME) and Edward Markey (MA), former Senator Olympia Snowe (ME), former Governor Ed Rendell, and others.
