Converting Files to PDF
We’re working on a grant proposal that must be submitted online in PDF format. We have Acrobat Reader, but how do we create a PDF file ourselves?
Adobe Acrobat is the commercial program of choice for creating and working with PDF files. However, if a software purchase does not fit into your budget, there are free PDF converters you can download and use. Of course, these programs do not offer all the features you’ll find in Acrobat, but if you simply need to convert a word processing document into a PDF file, a free program will do the trick. One free converter is Pdf995. You can find others by doing an Internet search using the key words “free PDF converter.â€
