Knowledge Delivery Systems (KDS) announces the expansion of its online Platform 2.0/eClassroom, a technology-enriched professional learning environment for teachers and administrators.
The eClassroom environment expands KDS’ online professional development offerings to include course taking, peer evaluation, and interactive discussions. The platform centers around a comprehensive and collaborative learning environment, including features like forums, private messaging with course facilitators, and the ability to build and download a portfolio of their course work. A self-assessment tool provides teachers and administrators a personalized baseline measurement from which to choose the most appropriate courses and create an individualized learning plan. Throughout the program, observation and evaluation tools allow teachers and administrators to gauge up-to-the minute progress against proficiencies and develop customizable progress reports.
eClassroom also provides more opportunities for districts to tailor KDS’ professional development offerings through course authoring tools. These tools provide districts the choice to expand their course options with local expertise, as well as leverage KDS’ library of content offerings.
