In Port Coquitlam, Canada, students and teachers of Riverside Secondary School have instituted a pilot program of the Samsung School solution, to integrate tablet technology into K-12 classrooms.
The Samsung School initiative employs the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, which allows students to mark up learning material with accompanying photos and text. Samsung partnered with Advanced Education to provide the tablets across Canada.
Samsung School, a digital education solution, uses the Samsung Galaxy 10.1 for screen sharing, screen monitoring, student device control, remote content sharing, content management and formative assessments. The initiative enables instant quizzes and virtual group collaborations.
