Securly, an internet safety solution, today announces an update to ChromeTools that makes Schoology class rosters instantly available to teachers. ChromeTools is the classroom management tool for Chromebooks and is part of Securly’s recent acquisition of TechPilot Labs.
Through this integration, teachers can begin a class session by selecting a class to view thumbnails of all screens and access a variety of tools. ChromeTools allows teachers to launch websites on student devices, keep students on task with limited browsing, monitor overall browsing activity, communicate with students and more.
To enable the integration, a school administrator can link the district’s Schoology and ChromeTools accounts to automatically synchronize all class rosters from Schoology to ChromeTools.
