LiketoBe.org is demonstrating its online platform, free to schools, during BETT 2019.
LiketoBe.org is an online networking platform that allows students to engage with employers and professionals in a secure environment. Students can:
- Learn about the variety of careers available to them
- What it’s like to live those careers in the real world and
- What it takes to achieve them.
The company also provides free lesson plans, created by experienced educators to support teachers in discussing careers with their students.
Dave Strudwick, Headteacher at Plymouth School for the Creative Arts explains why he supports LiketoBe.org. “As a school we are keen to look at how careers, employability and a sense of the horizon are integral to all learning. Young people need the chance to explore these areas in both primary and secondary schools."
