5 Ways to Amplify Student Voice and Create Student Engagement
As schools move from hybrid back to face-to-face learning environments, creating new, engaging lesson plans that engage all students in any learning environment can be a daunting task.
In a new Tech & Learning Lunch ‘n Learn webinar series, Dr. Kecia Ray talks with educators who will share their tips on how to easily create lessons on the fly to ensure all students are included and engaged, no matter where they are learning from.
In Part 1 of the series on Wednesday, April 21, from 3:30-4:30pm ET, author and high school teacher CJ Reynolds, a.k.a. “Real Rap with Reynolds,” will present "5 Ways to Amplify Student Voice and Create Student Engagement." These simple tips can be integrated into any curriculum or grade level, and have proven to engage even the most challenging students.
Attendees will learn how to build and strengthen a caring classroom community, go beyond the lesson plan, “rig” the learning game so every student can achieve success, and teach through a lens that students care about.
CJ Reynolds has inspired thousands of new and veteran teachers to be the teacher they always wanted to be through his book, Teach Your Class Off, and his popular Real Rap with Reynolds YouTube channel. At the April 21 Lunch ‘n Learn, attendees will get a glimpse into how Reynolds inspires his high school students and embraces his bare-bones teaching philosophy: In the classroom relationships are king, and education is only ever about the students.
All attendees also enjoy a coffee, courtesy of Tech & Learning!
