T&L congratulates the winners of our 33rd annual Awards of Excellence program. Honored software, hardware, network, and Web products include innovative applications that break new ground as well as those that added significant enhancements to proven education tools. A panel of educators tested hundreds of products, evaluating: quality and effectiveness, creative use of technology, ease of use, and suitability for a school environment. The results are in the pages that follow. The opportunities for using technology in the classroom have never been better, but making purchasing decisions has never been more difficult. We hope that the hard work our judges have performed this year adds insight to our readers’ search for the best solutions.
