NEWS & TRENDS: Louisiana Considers Special Recognition for STEM Work

Students who complete STEM courses in Louisiana may soon be able to earn special endorsements on their high school diplomas. Represented by gold or silver seals on the diplomas, a state DOE official says that silver seals will go to students who complete a subset of specified STEM courses, and gold seals will go to those who complete all the courses.
