BACK OFFICE BUSINESS: Broward County Public Schools Elects Science A-Z As District-Wide Supplement to K-5 Science Curriculum

Florida’s second largest district partners with Learning A-Z to provide its elementary schools with professional learning and an award-winning curriculum resource that blends science and literacy for grades K-5. Science A-Z provides thousands of resources to teach core science ideas and practices, multilevel books to differentiate reading instruction, and hands-on experiments and projects to apply science concepts. To complement BCPS’ blended approach to K–5 science instruction, Science A-Z content is available in printable, projectable, online, and mobile formats. Resources can be used for one-to-one, small-group, and whole-class instruction.
